1. What types of customers do you service? We have a broad customer base, including children's wear, swim wear, club wear, active wear, exotic dance wear, and skating, gymnastic and theatrical costuming.

2. How do I order from American Spandex Inc?

If you would like to place an order with American Spandex Inc, please go through the website shopping cart, or if you would like to speak with someone in person, call us at (631) 956-7041. If you know what fabric you would like to order, you can fax your order to (631) 956-7045.

3. How do I request a fabric swatch?

Due to the total number of fabrics we carry, and their ever changing nature, we do not print a catalogue for fabric. We consider this website to be our catalogue, and it will be updated as new products come in and old products deleted. If you are wishing to receive swatches, please . Look for the "Order Swatch" icon associated with each fabric keep in mind we charge $5.00 for each group of swatches requested within a design. (These swatches are not returnable)

We have a great swatch credit offer. When you purchase swatches, we issue you a credit towards your next order of a minimum of 40 yards within the designs in the swatch group. With this credit the swatches end up being free!

We strongly encourage customers to obtain swatches before making their fabric purchase. Although we make our best effort to provide accurate renderings of our fabric colors, what you see on your monitor never exactly matches the color of the fabric

4. Do you sell to individuals or only wholesale?

We only sell wholesale. Likewise, if you are a business and wishing to purchase wholesale, we must have a copy of your tax identification certificate on file before we can take an order.

5. What is your minimum order?

American Spandex Inc has not minimum order for sampling up to 15 yards. Our minimum order for production is 40 yards and time delivery is 4-5 weeks ship from our mill in Spain. Also, please keep in mind, any order less than 40 yards or $400.00 must be paid by Visa, Master Card or American Express. If you are ordering more than $400.00 you can request for credit through our factor Prime Business Credit, however, if declined, you MUST pay with a Credit Card!

6. How long will it take to get my order?

We ship with in 48 hours on any stock fabrics. Your order will be shipped in most cases within 48 hours upon receiving the order. The arrival time will depend on your location from our warehouse in Copiague, New York. If your order is for production or is on back order the time will vary between 4-5 weeks because of the schedule of the mill.

7.What is your minimum order for custom design print?

According to your needs, we can create original artwork from any level of concept, customize existing patterns, and deliver an exceptional printed product extensive resources and experience we are expert at small orders and tight schedules. Our patterns are skillfully screen-printed. Our minimum order for custom design is 350 yards. Please call us at (631) 956-7041 for more information on custom designs.

8.Do you have all of your products on your website?

No, due to the total quantity of product available in our line, we keep adding more fabrics as it comes to our warehouse is impossible to have every product on the website. However, please keep checking our website regularly for the new up coming designs.

9. Special Purchase and discounts?

We work very hard to find the best deals on the products you want. It may be with our Special Purchases where our dedicated buyers find first quality overstocks, liquidations, closeouts and more at prices that are up to 50% off the regular retail value. We take the work out of finding a great deal! There is always something new, but quantities can be limited, so act fast on these great finds. Getting a great deal does not mean sacrificing quality.

10. What form of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. It is possible to request credit, but only if your order is greater than $400.00 any order less than this amount MUST be paid by Credit Card! There are a few established parameters covering credit card sales that will apply:

Your account will be assessed a 3% Handling Fee by American Spandex Inc that will be added to your invoice. This 3% fee will be calculated on the total value of the transaction.

11. How are your products sent to me?

We ship most orders via UPS ground; by special request we can ship anything overnight, second day, or whatever your needs require. Actual shipping charges may vary based on product weight. Shipping charges apply for all continental U.S. domestic shipments.

12. Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, we ship all over the world. If you are a manufacturer and are looking to ship goods to Europe, Asia or other parts of the world, please contact us about shipping direct from our mills to your facility

13. What if I need warranty service? Our fabrics are top quality merchandise and we hope all of our customers are 100% satisfied. We have a 30-days return policy on stock fabrics, excluding special orders. Refunds will be issued once items are returned to us. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges. We must charge a 20% restocking fee and the customer is responsible for return shipping. Sale items and cut yardage may not be returned. All returns must be in original condition and packaging.
